Much of PAGE's work is done through the work of our committees. We welcome anyone to join one (or more!) of our committees to help make our community a better place for everyone.
The PAGE policy committee reviews School District and Village policies with a lens of equity. If new policies need to be created, we work to make that happen. We collaborate with the School Board and Village officials to try to bring positive changes in our systems/practices/policies so that all Village residents reach their full potential.
PAGE hosts numerous events throughout the year, in addition to collaborating with other groups/organizations and cosponsoring events. Some of our recent events include the Black History Month essay/art contest, Teen/Tween Pride Celebration, and a Dia De Los Muertos educational event.
Our immigration committee works with other Milwaukee County groups to advocate for our immigrant neighbors. We encourage people to take Know Your Rights trainings.
PAGE collaborates with local organizations including You Owe Us, The Redress Movement, and the Fair Housing Council of Metropolitan Milwaukee.
PAGE has been working with a local family to assess accessibility needs in Greendale. Join this committee to help plan outreach to local businesses to improve accessibility for everyone.
